In 2006 British singer, songwriter, guitarist Eamonn Mallon wrote the song Jackboot as part of his then forthcoming solo acoustic album 'Gunslinger'. The song is an uncompromising attack on the startling rise of the 'nanny state' and the fanatical 'Healthist' groups who have become politically powerful and influential in their search to control every aspect of peoples lives. The song was subsequently adopted as the official anthem of the multi-national organization, fighting scientific fraud and smoking bans, 'FORCES' www.forces.org. Since then , Jackboot has been downloaded thousands of times across the world, striking a chord with many fighting for liberty and freedom of choice. Now Eamonn has recorded a new electric version for single release in the UK.

"When I wrote the song it was far too early for the UK, so I've waited and waited and now I finally feel the time is right for it to be officially released here, as the public are now waking up to the fact that millions of lives are being turned upside down by the Healthist agenda, based on the most despicable fraud, and they've only just started on their road to a world full of perfect clones. More and more intrusive laws are coming, off the back of the smoking bans , to force the public to adopt the 'chosen' lifestyle, and before long we will all need permission to breath. This madness has got to stop".

Many modern politicians and the fanatically, obsessed health lobbies are a complete anathema to the natural forces and passions in this world. They are unfortunately leading us all into ‘police state’ territory. With an onslaught of misinformation, and an astonishing eagerness to impose a particular philosophy of life, by force, they are breeding an intolerance in society, which is both outrageous and dangerous.
Clamping down more and more on peoples’ freedoms, and attempting to iron out our differences, which make living interesting, takes the spark out of all our lives, and that is criminal and unforgivable. It seems they have no idea what damage they’re doing, what damage they’re capable of doing to the human spirit. This goes far beyond the smoking issue.

This is the jackboot.

Most of the infamous dictators were anti-smoking fanatics. I don't believe this to be a coincidence, I believe this to be significant. To them smoking reeked of free-thinking, individualism, non-conformity and tolerance, all the glorious traits we lose by succumbing to oppression of this kind. Listening to the opportunist outpourings of the Anti-Smoking Crusaders it's becoming increasingly clear that they are commonly suffering from 'Obsessive Compulsive Disorders' and instead of bullying the public and politicians, they should be visiting psychiatrists. It is extremely disturbing to know that the mentally ill are now creating Government legislation.

A smoke-free pub/club is now masquerading as a 'social' place but has lost it's purpose. Once a place designed to help people escape the regulation and pressure of work and life for a short time, is now patrolled by the 'regulators' ever watchful eyes. A place tainted by extreme ideology. An ideology that seeks to exclude rather than bring together. Now a sad, politized place. The British pubs and clubs, unique in the world, are being 'purposely' destroyed by the zealots who despise everything they stood for. Their hateful aim is to create division and discrimination, where it never existed before.

We are told that an activity such as smoking is NOT NECESSARY. Not necessary? Most of the things we do are NOT necessary! Animals and people living for survival alone do not indulge themselves , for the most part, with the unnecessary, but it is the unnecessary that enhances our lives in all sorts of ways. It's called civilisation. The freedom to choose one's own unnecessaries

With freedom comes responsibility and compromise. Compromise not heavy-handed authoritarianism. Freedom will always be abused, but that is the price that must be paid for ‘such a beautiful state’. The alternative is a dark chasm devoid of creativity and free expression, overrun by divisive, dictatorial thinking, hell bent on control, regardless of the misery it induces.

The ‘joke science’ behind the ‘passive smoking’ claims is so laughable, the perpetrators should be doing ‘stand-up’, but it’s not funny anymore, it’s serious. The opportunist anti-smoking charlatans, and their ’drug company’ masters, consist of a very small minority, who have gained increasing power, of frightening proportions, in the political arena, and who have turned barefaced lying into an art form. They will say “it’s for your own good“, well, who knows, we may live a little longer in shackles, although doubtful, but to live and die a free man, is a gift most precious, which should never be forgotten.

A cultural change by force of law, is an ugly slur on the principles of democracy. It is certainly a fascist ideal that should never be allowed to flourish in Britain. It will be a very sad day if it does.

To smoke has now become a 'symbol of protest' against the dictatorial mind. They have made it so.
